About Jennifer Hall

Jennifer Hall's interest in nutrition began with concerns for an overweight family member with excess abdominal fat. In her teenage years, she used to tease that family member by saying, ?I am going to school to learn how to put you on a diet.? Many years later, Jennifer enrolled at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, to study the science of nutrition and become a dietitian. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition in 1985 and a Master's degree in Nutrition in 1987 from the same university. In 1992, she successfully passed the examination to become a Registered Dietitian. Jennifer is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, licensed by the states of Arkansas, Washington DC, and Maryland. Later in her career as a Registered Dietitian, she developed an interest in diabetes education. While working in a diabetes education clinic, Jennifer completed the required 1,000 hours to qualify for the examination to become a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), now known as Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). She passed the CDE/CDCES examination in 2006. Jennifer Hall has a passion for diabetes education and is the Founder, Owner, and CEO of her home-based business, DANS-Diabetes and Nutrition Services, LLC-located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Through DANS, she uses a virtual platform to empower her clients to self-manage diabetes and other nutrition-related medical conditions through effective nutrition counseling and diabetes education. Jennifer Hall is also an Apostolic Minister, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to parishioners at local and out-of-town churches. Her hobbies include preaching, teaching, singing, football, baseball, and table tennis.
