Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chicago's Chamberlain University and has over ten years of healthcare experience, primarily the emergency department setting. She is the rare combination of compassionate & knowledgeable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Your first visit is focused on getting to know you — your story, goals, and what’s been working (or not). From there, we’ll create a plan together and check in regularly to see what’s helping and where adjustments might be needed. My goal is to make the process clear, collaborative, and comfortable from the very first appointment.

Jennifer Joiner is exceptional at what she does. From the first visit, she took the time to listen carefully and made me feel genuinely heard and understood. Her bedside manner is calm, professional, and compassionate — she doesn’t rush through appointments and explains everything clearly. You can tell she truly cares about her patients’ overall well-being and wants to find what works best for each individual.
The office staff was courteous, check-in was smooth, and the wait time was minimal (less than 15 minutes). I left feeling confident in my treatment plan and grateful to have found a provider who’s both knowledgeable and approachable. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a mental health professional who treats you like a person, not a number.
