About Jennifer Kang
Jennifer Kang loves what she does. Passionate about both science and the arts, she found that pursuing a career in Medical Aesthetics helped her merge her two skill sets-while at the same time allowing her to address the psychosocial aspects of aging and skin-related issues.
“I love how medical aesthetics can positively impact people's self-esteem and quality of life,” says Jennifer. “And I am amazed by the confidence that radiates from those who garner a positive self-image.”
With two bachelor's degrees and a Master's in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach under her belt, Jennifer is meticulous in educating her patients prior to performing any treatment-so that they not only understand what her recommendations are, but why she's making them. It's this ability to be thorough-during, before, and after each treatment-coupled with the time she takes to get to know each patient and be available to them, that keeps her patients coming back.
When it comes to favorite treatments, Jennifer loves how microneedling smooths and thickens the skin, creating a healthy glow.
She also believes the way you treat your skin at home is equally important to your skin health journey. In fact, at-home skin care is imperative to maintaining the results of in-office treatments. “Years of damage or neglect cannot be reversed in one treatment nor prevented without daily care,” says Jennifer.
When she's not helping patients at SkinSpirit, Jennifer is a self-proclaimed homebody who loves spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys nature, working on art projects, and binge-watching pimple popping videos and true crime documentaries!
