Jennifer Landolt has worked in psychiatric nursing since 1994. She is a career nursing professional with experience treating clients throughout the adult lifespan and in many different environments ranging from inpatient to outpatient and from institutional to the private practice sectors. Jennifer is trained in diagnosing mental health disorders, addiction support and offering treatment options in the form of prescribing medication and other nonpharmacological interventions. She believes in the power of structure, exercise, meditation, mindfulness and journaling.
Jennifer has worked with adults of all ages and takes special interest in trauma-informed care. She has treated patients ranging from young adults with ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar and binge eating disorder to geriatrics
with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and dementia. She believes in working with each individual and their families to create an effective treatment plan in order to attain a balanced state and successful outcomes.
Jennifer is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who was born and raised in the midwestern region of the US. Jennifer obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and completed her graduate training at New York University. Jennifer has studied at the William Alanson White Institute in NYC and completed certification in Problem Solving Treatment and Comprehensive Motivational Interventions.
Jennifer devotes her time to raising her son and their dog, Millie, the pursuit of continuing education, and her interests in physical fitness including tennis, yoga, and cycling.

It was a horrible experience and I regret making an appointment.
She was extremely condescending and judgemental. When I told her about very personal things in my life I was dealing with she would use those same details and shame me about it. It was shocking. I just wanted someone to speak with that would be respectful and compassionate unfortuently instead It felt like I was being cross examed in court for a crime I did not commit. It was all very bizzare, It seems like if I did not give the the awnser she wanted she would get upset and make very sneaky insults. Maybe she was upset because she wasnt able to find a reason to prescribe me medications so she can make money. I would not recommend her to my worse enemy. She seems more like a mental patient pretending to be a doctor,seriously.

I chose this doctor due to the great reviews. She did not review my chart prior to the session, listen to or acknowledge medical concerns I had, pushed a medical option I repeatedly stated I was not comfortable with, and was extremely condescending and made several passive aggressive comments.

Easy to talk to. Very thorough and understanding. I felt that I could open up and explain any issues without worry or judgement etc. I’m hopeful about my outlook and I’m looking forward to working with Jennifer again.
