I was incredibly disappointed by my visit with NP Jennifer Lopez at the Texan Family Clinic today. I waited nearly 40 minutes for a consultation that lasted barely two minutes.
When I tried to express genuine medical concerns regarding extreme fatigue, NP Lopez completely shrugged them off, dismissively telling me I should just "push through" it and go to work. Furthermore, what was scheduled as a fully covered preventative annual checkup was unexpectedly changed to a different appointment type with added fees, simply to authorize a standard refill for a medication I've taken for over a year.
When I finally walked out and asked the front desk to just send my refill to the pharmacy, the staff had no idea who I was or what room I was in. It was completely disorganized, and obvious they had forgotten about me.
Save your time, money, and energy. Find a provider who will actually listen to your health concerns rather than leaving you in a room to rot.

First visit was more than expected. Went to appt as an introductory call to review history and develop future plans. I had a prescription that I needed to get refilled but could. It as my prior doctor changed practices and my prescription had run out. While at office not only reviewed past health issues but discussed plan for the future. Received vaccination and lab works were taken. Unexpected but pleasantly surprised. On way home I got a text from CVS that my prescription would be ready this afternoon.
Not only very satisfied with Texas Family Clinic but look forward to my return.

Small office but we'll maintained and clean. Office staff did their best to get to me despite all the phone calls. Clinical staff was quick to get me in and very kind. She double checked all intake information as well. The NP was great. Listened to my concerns and professionally did my annual exam. I appreciated her bedside manner and candor. Will be back should I need further medical care.
