Dr. Maender is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatological Society, and she is currently the Vice President of the Houston Dermatological Society. Dr. Maender has been practicing dermatology for 12 years in the Houston area. She specializes in medical and surgical dermatology and enjoys seeing both pediatric and adult patients. For any patients who feel more comfortable conversing in Spanish, she is a fluent Spanish speaker. Outside the office, Dr. Maender is married to her college sweetheart who has worked for NASA and the commercial space industry for the past 20 years and is a proud mom to two young children.
