It takes a month to get in for a regular check up. When with the nurse, they were checking off boxes like " discussed with patient " regarding eating, working out etc; it wasn''t discussed with them and only brought up because I mentioned it.
When trying to review that Lily had a recent medicine change I was talked over and told to go back for another option for medicine (because of weight). I tried numerous times to say this was one of the reasons it was changed, but I was still told to change it again
When trying to see (without clearing it with me or lily first) to check if puberty was happening, it was rushed. How about you ask them if they are comfortable with it? Because you telling her it is "okay because mommy is there" doesn''t mean she''s okay with it. You telling her she should be okay with it is discomforting. You telling her that you have to, without asking if she noticed changes is also rude/unprofessional.

I'm going to this doctor because I have no choice as my preferred doctors are not available for appointments. She has said many things that a doctor should not be saying. She said my son is over weight during the 1st visit when I was concerned about his picky eating. She said you can skip a meal and its ok. The next visit she said he is pretty thick when I brought up the same topic and wanted to give the status update regarding therapy. She also said I'm a bad parent and my parenting style is the reason he is picky. I understand as parents, we might have messed up something due to which he is picky eater but as a doctor she should be more supportive and guide us in proper direction instead of breaking us down and making us feel bad about the situation and judging us. If I had a choice I would never go back to her. But if my son gets sick, I have no other way. I'm hoping other doctors open up appointments for new patients.
