About Dr. Jennifer Purifoy
I grew up in rural southeastern Minnesota, spending most of my childhood summers on my grandparents' cattle farm in central Nebraska. As a youth, I enjoyed playing volleyball, running, and spending time outdoors. After college, I pursued my medical education at Touro University in Vallejo, earning both a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master's in Public Health. I completed my residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. Following training, I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for about 13 years. Today, I enjoy spending time with my husband and six children, cooking, knitting, volunteering, watching youth and professional sports especially volleyball and football, and wine tasting.
