“I've been one of Ms. Robert's patients for over a year now. She is amazing, and has helped me open up about a lot of my issues. She's very patient and kind. She's one of the first people who has made me feel heard, when it comes to my health. She takes my opinion into account, and asks me if I agree with the treatment she wants to give. She tells me all of the details, instead of withholding information. She also listens to my personal concerns and answers any of the questions I ask. I highly recommend her for anyone that is looking for help in her field of care!”

Getting to know Jennifer Roberts

Hi, I’m Jennifer Roberts, PMHNP-BC. I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner with years of nursing experience supporting women through life’s transitions—to adulthood, perinatal, midlife and beyond. I offer compassionate, holistic care that blends psychiatric expertise with a deep respect for your story, values, and preferences. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic pain trauma, and hormone-related mental health challenges. Whether you're exploring medication, alternatives, or just need someone who listens—I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When we work together, you can expect a collaborative, respectful, and personalized approach. Our initial session will include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, where I take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and goals. From there, we’ll develop a holistic treatment plan that may include medication management, nutrition and sleep support, mind-body strategies, and referrals to therapy or integrative care providers.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is centered on collaboration, personalization, and compassion. At She Transforms, I specialize in women’s mental health care that addresses the whole person—not just the symptoms. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), my goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and truly supported in your healing. We begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which lasts about 60–90 minutes. In this first visit, we explore your mental health history, current symptoms, medical conditions, lifestyle, and goals. I take the time to listen deeply, so we can uncover root causes and build a full picture of your experience. Following the initial assessment, I’ll develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. This may include: Medication management Hormonal and life-stage considerations (e.g., postpartum, perimenopause) Mind-body tools such as breathwork or mindfulness Lifestyle guidance (sleep, nutrition, stress reduction) Collaboration with your therapist, OB-GYN, or PCP, if helpful Ongoing sessions are typically 25–45 minutes and focus on monitoring progress, adjusting treatment, and offering supportive education. We work together to ensure the plan evolves with you—not around you. Whether you’re managing anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, or hormonal mood changes, I offer in-person care in Walpole, MA and telehealth across Massachusetts. I also accept select insurances, self-pay, and provide superbills. I want every client to feel like an active partner in their care. You’ll never be rushed, dismissed, or treated like a checklist. You are the expert in your life—I’m here to walk beside you with expertise, empathy, and unwavering support.

Jen makes you feel safe & heard and never judged I'd reccomend her to anyone!
Warm, caring and down-to-earth. I couldn't ask for a better NP!

Jen is the best. She practices through a holistic lens and focuses not only on medication management, but also on physical health and wellbeing, which I find really enhances our sessions. You can tell that she really cares about her patients and enjoys the work she does. I feel very lucky to have her as my provider.
An amazing person and has provided me with the best care from the very first appointment. I don’t know what I’d do without her.
It was amazing! Jen helped me make a real plan so I can work on healing. She's helped me teach my progress & give me a neutral perspective on what to work on next. Highly recommend.
Jennifer is always professional, friendly and present to listen and offer solid methods of trying to assist me with whatever type of issue I’m going through. She offers many avenues of therapeutic means for me to choose from and makes me feel like I am truly in control of my treatment. Always answers questions in a timely fashion in an Emergent situation!
Jen has been an incredibly supportive person to me. I was at the lowest point of my life when we met and I can tell you, without hesitation, that she has been a huge part and big reason that I have found my way to loving myself. Jen is a kind person, who is genuine with the way she interacts with her patients. The standards that she hold for herself are high, and I can tell you she has exceeded all of my expectations. She is completely professional in her recommendations but she is able to share a feeling of friendship when we talk. She has shown herself to be honest, thoughtful and dependable when she is with me and I trust her with everything about me. She is the type of person who remembers the things that I share that are important to me, like my children and pets, not just healthcare specific things like other providers I have. She is different in all the best possible ways. I recommend her highly and know that you will be better with her on your team. ??
Jennifer is an amazingly kind, intelligent and helpful therapist. She goes out of her way to make certain that I have an active role in decision making regarding methods and medications we use to help me live a better life.
