“First off I have to admit that I was terrified of being seen by a dermatologist because I had so many concerns. However Jennifer Shelby and her assistant made me feel so comfortable and at ease! I was able to discuss all of my concerns and never felt judged only comfort and understanding. She listened and addressed all my questions and gave multiple solutions as to our next steps. About Jennifer Shelby
Jennifer Shelby is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in both Adult Gerontology Primary Care and Women’s Health. She was born and raised in the middle Tennessee area. She graduated with honors from Middle Tennessee State University earning Bachelor’s degrees in Exercise Science and in Biochemistry. She attended Vanderbilt University to earn her Master’s degree in Nursing. She continued her studies at Vanderbilt University where she also obtained her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice. After more than 7 years of providing care in women’s health, Jennifer joined the Skin Solutions team to enter the exciting field of Dermatology and apply her skills in new ways and to a wider range of patients.
Jennifer lives with her husband in Lascassas, TN. She enjoys playing sports, running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She takes pride in empowering her patients and providing evidence-based and compassionate care to all.

I was able to make the appointment that day. I went to their office and their staff came in and got all my information. Shortly after Jennifer Shelby came in and she was aware of my past diagnosis and what I needed at this visit. She discussed the treatment and then did as discussed. It was quick and painless. I am glad I chose this clinic thanks to the friendliness and the fast appointment.

I really appreciated how nice the front office receptionist was, she made us feel very comfortable. The Doctor made sure my daughter understood everything she was talking about. She also gave her some samples to try first! The front receptionist & Doctor were great overall!!!
