HealthyGene is a self-pay telehealth genetic counseling practice offering personalized risk assessment, genetic testing guidance, and results interpretation. I'm Jennifer Thompson, MS, CGC, a board-certified genetic counselor with over 10 years of experience helping individuals and families understand inherited health risks and make informed healthcare decisions. I see patients for: • Personal or family history of cancer, heart disease, and other inherited conditions • Proactive genetic testing • Preconception carrier screening (before pregnancy) • Review of previous genetic test results (ordered by a healthcare provider or direct-to-consumer testing) I do not currently provide genetic counseling for: • Prenatal testing during a current pregnancy • IVF or embryo genetic testing (PGT-A, PGT-M, or PGT-SR) Self-pay pricing: Genetic Counseling & Testing – $350 Includes a 60-minute consultation, personalized risk assessment, discussion of testing options, coordination of testing (if desired), and a follow-up results appointment. Genetic Test Results Review – $175 A 60-minute appointment for individuals who already have genetic test results and would like help understanding what they mean. Genetic testing laboratory fees are separate. We'll review testing options, insurance coverage, and expected costs before you decide whether to proceed. After booking, you'll receive access to my secure client portal to complete intake forms and consent paperwork. Please complete these at least 24 hours before your appointment so I can review your personal and family history and be fully prepared for our visit.
