“15 minutes with Jennifer is priceless. She comes up with solutions to my problems that are obvious, but I did not think of. Getting to know Jennifer Weldon

Hi there, I am originally from Michigan and moved to Brevard County, FL, in 1997. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan. After moving here, I worked for Candle Lighters of Brevard. My father had a stroke and was in and out of hospitals and nursing homes for six years. His illness inspired me to go back to school at the University of Central Florida, where I obtained my BSN-RN and later earned my Master’s in Family Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During that period, I also went through a divorce and was a single mother to an amazing son. I have faced many challenges and bumps in the road throughout my childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, which has given me enhanced understanding, compassion, empathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude. I went back to school yet again and completed my PMHNP from the University of Cincinnati. I specialize in integrative medicine, which means finding the root of the illness and treating it with lifestyle changes, a healthy diet, exercise, bio-identical hormone replacements, supplements, and medications that address the problem instead of just bandaging the symptoms. I believe the mind, body, and spirit are connected and need to be balanced to feel a sense of overall well-being. I do not believe in “cookie-cutter” or one-size-fits-all medicine. I believe you know your body and mind better than anyone. We will work together to find the root cause and discover the best treatment for you! Sometimes we may have to try many different options before finding the right fit, but I am like Felix the Cat—I have a large bag of tricks and can think outside the box!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I look forward to being a safe haven where you can be yourself and trust. I can assist you to develop, break down your barriers, grow, and flourish! We will explore treatment options, provide direction, and help guide you on your Journey. You will be in the drivers seat. I will not try to force you to take any medication or do anything that you are not comfortable trying. We will go at your pace. You can do, be or have anything that you desire, you just may have to work extra hard to achieve it. I will be your assistant, guide, conscious, supporter, sounding board, fill some gaps of what you have been missing in your life. I will help you uncover your barriers and work with you to break them down, and build you build yourself back up with strength and help you to be your own best friend.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
