About Dr. Jennifer Wong
Dr. Jennifer Wong joined Riverchase Dermatology with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from her residency class as “Most Outstanding Resident” for her excellence in dermatology displaying outstanding leadership and mentorship with colleagues and patients. Dr. Wong has been trained by well renowned dermatologists who are experts in complex, medical dermatology as well as dermatological surgery and cosmetics. Remaining up to date with the latest and most innovative science and therapy in dermatology is a priority for Dr. Wong. She loves all aspects of dermatology and hopes to share that love with her patients through excellent care and communication. She believes in providing the best individualized skin care treatments available.
In her free time Dr. Wong enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and experiencing the many different and amazing cultures the world has to offer.

I booked on Zoc doc since I recently updated my insurance and wanted to find a dermatologist that I can visit frequently.
The platform Zoc doc itself is great and super easy. I was able to upload my insurance card and confirm everything prior to my appt. The office check in process was also simple.
I got to the waiting room and waited at least 35 minutes to see the provider. I truthfully didn’t get the most warming personality from the provider, as someone who was new to having a dermatologist. I wasn’t asked much questions about my issue and there was a time where I wasn’t sure what the next step would be and she looked at me like I was lost. We followed through with the service I wanted but she provided no aftercare instructions. Maybe there wasn’t any but I googled it to make sure. I think overall the staff was friendly but I would love a provider that shows a little bit more interest or concerns with my presenting issues.

I saw Dr Wong this morning. My appt was at 8:45, and I was in her chair at exactly 8:45… she was very thorough, and answered all my questions… did a few small in office procedures, and I was back in my car by 9:05. Her nurse was also very friendly & helpful! I would recommend to anyone looking for a dermatologist in the area.

Dr. Wong and her assistant, Kryshna (I think that was her attendant's name) were very professional, attentive, and kind. I was really struck by their bedside manner. Moreover, both were great communicators. They listened and offered good advice. Finally, the receptionists were very helpful.

Very unfriendly front desk people from the beginning to the end. They have the deductible to be collected sign (pink hand written note) right before you leave the office so they can police you with it and get you pay your insurance deductible.
Professional office staff will make the patient aware of the deductible prior any procedure, not after.
The Doctor was great as well as medical staff.

It was time for me to find a new dermatologist and I'm so happy I found Dr. Wong. The office staff was great, the nurses were amazing and Dr. Wong listened to all that I had to say. I didn't feel rushed in any way. I would highly recommend Dr. Wong!

Joey was the tech who helped me and he was super friendly and upbeat, even though I'm going through such a hard time with my skin.
He kept things light and enjoyable so I felt comfortable in the setting, talking about things that are quite personal and upsetting about my appearance.
Dr.Wong was very patient and understanding, she listened to my extensive situation and didn't make me feel stupid or rushed and for that I'm very thankful.
She gave me an explanation for what's going on and why, and she was extremely thorough.
I have a follow up within a week and I'm already looking forward to seeing her again.
If I had another issue, I would definitely go to her.
