She joined Eastside in May 2013, certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and licensed by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing. Jennifer practiced midwifery in the Washington D.C. area for approximately 10 years before moving back to the Detroit area. Her goal is to provide women with personal and individualized evidence-based care throughout their lives. She strives to promote healthy pregnancy and natural birth for women, believing it is important for women to be empowered in their pregnancy and birth. Jennifer encourages women to take an active role in all their health care decisions. Eastside's Midwifery practice has given her the opportunity to provide this personal approach to women's care.
