Getting to know Jenny Gao

I’m a board-certified PMHNP who believes meaningful mental health care starts with feeling truly heard. With experience in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, I have cared for individuals across the lifespan, ages 5–75. I specialize in treating mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions. I completed my graduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and undergraduate training at Vanderbilt University. As a provider, I value honesty, collaboration, and taking things one step at a time—meeting you where you are without judgment. Using a holistic approach that integrates psychiatric medications as one part of a broader toolbox, we can foster psychosocial development, insight, and long-term resilience. We'll focus on building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust and transparency, as meaningful progress happens when care is patient-centered. Together, we’ll focus on care that feels supportive, empowering, and tailored to your unique needs—because meaningful progress happens when treatment addresses the whole person, not just symptoms.
