Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

Dr Joseph was very kind and warm and knowledgeable; however after one hour of divulging symptoms and describing my daughter experience - Dr Joseph said she could not help my daughter. There was no explanation why and Dr Joseph confirmation to my daughter that she will need to tell her story all over again . Now my daughter has no interest in seeking help due to this experience. I am certain I will be billed for this “consultation”. I am not sure exactly what I would be billed for except a hurdle to getting my daughter help. Now my daughter has no interest in seeking help. She is angry, frustrated, and fed up with trying to get help. This consultation actually set my daughter back further from getting help. Please be careful before using talkiatry or zocdoc that you understand what to expect before you or a loved one reveals personal private information to any doctor or mental health professional.

I scheduled a telehealth appointment. It was my very first mental health experience. I have many friends and family who have successfully engaged in treatment and encouraged me to do the same. I also spoke to my primary care physician who felt it was a good idea. Despite it being my first experience, I spoke openly and candidly with Dr. Jenny. I have had some difficult events recently and have been struggling. I shared that I find it difficult to get out of bed some days and that I'm honestly struggling with feeling bad all the time. Can't shake it. After listening to me pour my guts out for 45 min, Dr. Jenny decided to pass. Telling me that she was going to get someone to recommend a therapist for me. Clearly her lack of life experience limited her ability to remotely relate to a person with my experiences and in real pain. It was so deflating it hurt. She smiled, told me someone would contact me. I have heard from no one. Did more damage. Disappointed with Dr Jenny!
