About Jerry Lu
Jerry Lu, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. He received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at the University at Buffalo and earned a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Stony Brook University. He is an active and proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Before joining The Dermatology Specialists, Jerry gained invaluable experience working as a medical assistant and scribe at a dermatology clinic in Queens, NY. This role not only bolstered his passion but also gave him practical experience that shaped his approach to dermatology. He went on to complete his didactic and clinical training in PA school with an additional dermatology rotation and continued his education with the Skin Academy at TDS.
Jerry is committed to providing comprehensive and individualized care, ensuring that his patients feel their best after every visit. Coming from an immigrant family, he also speaks Mandarin Chinese at a professional proficiency. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking new recipes, and playing in his basketball league.

Jerry was amazing , he was very attentive , listened and asked me numerous if times was that all my issues I had . Normally doctors rush you in and out ,but not Jerry he listened to every complaint and was very informative and transparent with a treatment plan. I would highly recommend you book with Jerry!!
