“Jerusha is AMAZING. I would 100% recommend her to anyone and everyone I know. Not only do I feel heard I feel seen. I look forward to our sessions. I have been in therapy and on medication on and off for over 20 years now, and Jerusha is the first people to ever challenge my previous diagnoses based on the information I’ve given her regarding my past experiences. I’ve had a huge change in understanding who I am, what I need to grow, and I’m now on medication that actually helps me. I am forever great full and for always a patient!”

Getting to know Jerusha Muniu

Jerusha Muniu, PMHNP-BC I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 16 years of experience in the mental health field, including 3 years as a PMHNP. My journey began as a mental health technician in a group home setting, where I developed a profound passion for psychiatry and recognized the critical need for mental health care. To pursue this passion, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State University in Massachusetts. After graduation, I gained valuable experience as a psychiatric nurse in acute care hospitals and community settings, including home care. My commitment to mental health care inspired me to further my education by earning a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University and becoming certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In my role as a PMHNP, I have had the privilege of working in community settings, providing care to both children and adults facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction, and attention deficit disorder. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in mental health by offering valuable resources and enhancing the overall quality of life for my patients. Beyond my professional endeavors, I cherish moments spent with my family, enjoy watching K-drama, and participate in community events. These activities help me maintain a balanced and fulfilling life. I firmly believe in the importance of building genuine connections and trust with others, which is why I am enthusiastic about connecting with you here. Let’s engage in meaningful conversations and explore opportunities for collaboration. Together, we can work toward advancing mental health care and improving quality of life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
