Getting to know Jessecca Rowe

I'm Jessecca Rowe, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and more-offering personalized treatment that includes both medication management and supportive therapy. Appointments are available via telehealth throughout Texas, with flexible payment options including cash pay and most major insurance plans.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a collaborative, person-centered approach that blends thoughtful medication management with tailored talk-therapy techniques. In our telehealth sessions, I meet you where you are—building on your strengths, honoring your pace, and inviting your input every step of the way. Together we’ll: Set clear goals that matter to you (managing anxiety, finding balance, improving focus, etc.) Use evidence-based strategies (CBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation) alongside any medications to give you practical tools for daily life Stay flexible—if an approach isn’t working, we’ll adjust it, ensuring your treatment always fits your needs Maintain open communication—I encourage questions, feedback, and shared decision-making so you feel empowered in your care Focus on safety and confidentiality, creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind My goal is to support you in building resilience, mastering coping skills, and achieving meaningful progress on your mental-health journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial Evaluation (60–90 minutes) Comprehensive Intake: We’ll review your full history—medical, psychiatric, family, and social—to form an accurate diagnosis. Mental Status Exam: I’ll observe your mood, thought patterns, speech, and behavior to inform our treatment plan. Collaborative Goal-Setting: Together we’ll clarify your top priorities (e.g., managing anxiety, improving sleep, tackling low mood). Plan Outline: You’ll leave with a clear roadmap—whether that’s medication management, talk-therapy techniques, or both. Follow-Up Visits (30–60 minutes) Check-In & Symptom Review How have you been since our last visit? Any changes in mood, sleep, appetite, energy, concentration, or side effects? Medication Management Assess effectiveness and tolerability of any prescriptions. Make dose adjustments or add-ons as needed. Talk-Therapy & Skills Building I incorporate evidence-based approaches (CBT, mindfulness, behavioral activation) tailored to your needs. We practice techniques in session and identify “homework” exercises when helpful. Diagnostic Refinement Over time, we’ll revisit and refine your diagnoses as more information emerges—this ensures your treatment always matches your current experience. Next Steps & Scheduling We’ll set clear objectives for the week ahead and confirm your next appointment (usually every 2–4 weeks). Throughout every session, I prioritize open communication, shared decision-making, and a warm, nonjudgmental space. Whether you need focused medication support, talk therapy, or a blend of both, my aim is to empower you with tools and insights that translate into real-life progress.
