About Jessica Ackerman

Jessica Ackerman is a board certified Physician Assistant who comes to Dermatology and Aesthetics with over five years of experience in the field of dermatology. Jessica received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, and then went on to pursue her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at James Madison University. Prior to joining Dermatology and Aesthetics, Jessica worked at a busy cosmetic, medical and surgical dermatology practice in the Washington DC area. Particular areas of clinical interest include the prevention and early detection of skin cancer, treatment of complex psoriasis, and management of stubborn acne. She enjoys treating both children and adults of all ages. Jessica is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, as well as the Illinois Society of Physician Assistants.
