“Dr. Au was wonderful- she was so thorough and was a great listener. She addressed all of my concerns patiently and she didn’t rush me at all. She explained everything she was doing and why and told me exactly what was causing the pain and what they need to look into and why. She was also very clear about all my options and next steps and helped me set up additional appointments. The office is also very pretty and the front desk was nice. Highly recommend her!”

About Dr. Jessica Au
Dr. Au is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician focused on the non-operative treatment of spine and musculoskeletal disorders. She is fellowship-trained to provide fluoroscopically-guided spine and joint injections to treat acute and chronic pain. Her approach to patient care is comprehensive, utilizing any combination of physical therapy, medication and/or injections as needed, with the overall goal to improve an individual’s quality of life and daily function.
Dr. Au earned her undergraduate degree at Williams College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine (now known as Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai), where she first developed an interest in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation—a medical specialty focused on managing the functional impairments that may result from neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders. She went on to complete an Internal Medicine Internship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Cornell-Columbia. Dr. Au received further training at the Orthopaedic Specialists of the Carolinas though an Interventional Spine Fellowship.
Dr. Au is an active member of the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

While my experience with doctor Jessica was good, her staff is completely upsetting story. I booked my appointment through zocdoc and called in to check if my insurance is accepted. They confirmed I am in network over the phone and when I visited, but later billed me as out of network. Numerous calls to clear this issue didn't help.
