About Dr. Jessica Cleary
Jessica Cleary DNP, APN, FNP-C has always had a passion for helping others, which led her to volunteer at a hospital, obtaining over 750 hours of experience. This guided her to a career in healthcare. She graduated from Saint Elizabeth University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Since 2014, she has worked as a Registered Nurse, rotating through various specialties such as the medical-surgical unit, operating room, maternal-child department, postpartum unit, and dermatology. Aspiring to earn a terminal nursing degree, she graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing in dermatology since 2021 and has grown to love it more each day.
Jessica is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and prioritizes providing quality care while helping her patients feel great in their skin. She values long-term patient relationships and enjoys observing how patients transition healthily throughout their lives. From the first visit, she is attentive and dedicates her time to understanding her patients and their conditions. Education is another passion of hers; she loves teaching patients about sun safety, acute and chronic conditions, and cosmetic treatments.
When not practicing dermatology, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors with her children and family. She and her husband also love to travel and try new foods. One of their favorite destinations is Portugal, where they enjoy a good espresso and a custard cup?or as she would say, a good "pastel de nata."

Honestly it wasnt even the doctor i didnt see her. It was the front desk. They have a leave a card on file policy and when i asked the front desk why she stated well if you get a something done that’s not covered by your insurance we charge the credit card. And when i asked her another question she clearly didnt care to understand she was like “this is our policy” stated i understand but i dont want to be charged for something if im not notified before shes like well we let them know within the 24 hours. I did not feel comfortable leaving my card on file so i was not see which i understand thats their policy. But the front desk was very dismissive when asked certain questions just kept on saying this is the policy. This was the first doctor’s office i visited that held a card on file.

Wast fo time, i have visited the the location and they're choosing their own pharmacy not mine and after two days pharmacy called me that i have to Pay for the medication because the insurance doesn't cover it. And last two days was very painful.

Dr. Cleary was the best dermatologist I’ve ever met. She had unparalleled bedside manner, listened carefully to my prior history, considered my input, presented 2 possible diagnosis, took a quick biopsy after careful consideration to ensure an accurate diagnosis, & immediately offered a treatment plan. I rejected 1 of the medications that had an adverse side effect in the past. She listened and prescribed an alternative. I’ve never had a doctor with such a devotion to detail in addressing a client’s specific symptoms and highly recommend her to everyone.

My experience was great. The secretaries were amazing. The physician assistant was so nice and Jessica is just the most wonderful dermatologist I’ve ever met. I’m so glad that I found her on here and that I found it easily. I’ll recommend anyone to come to see Jessica. She took off my mole with no hesitation. It was easy. My experience was 1000 out of 1000.
