“I visited Dr. Intravia for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience. The front desk and other medical staff were incredibly personable and took great care in listening to my concerns.
Dr. Intravia was similarly personable, instantly likeable, and diagnosed the problem quickly. She provided a treatment plan for my wrist and took the time to answer all of my questions. As an aside, she noticed a burn on my arm and gave me a cream to help it heal quicker, which was so lovely and exhibits a genuine care for patients.
I truly appreciate her and her team and highly recommend them to anyone seeking help for a hand/wrist injury. ”

Understood my injury, treated it without hesitation (presenting what they thought was the best option) while explaining everything (including other options, side effects, recovery expectations, etc.) so that I was comfortable before proceeding. I was. My thumb injury is better already, in approx 1/3 of the time the doctor suggested. Expect further improvement. Will see them again if have a future injury.”

Not a bad doctor, but every visit felt kind of pointless, she would say Xray looks good and then just schedule another one for 2 weeks. Didn’t feel like she critically thinks about injuries and just follows the script.

This Summit Health office and Dr. Intravia are a blessing. While I tried first to see other hand surgeons at other offices where I regularly see providers, the wait was months. Dr. Intravia and her kind, helpful staff saw me right away and gave good, efficient care. I recommend highly and am considering moving other aspects of my care to Summit. Thank you!

I was disappointed by this visit. The attending nurse seemed inexperienced and started admonishing me without good reason. When the doctor came in, she seemed in a rush and left the appointment after 5 mins telling me to come again early March without giving me a detailed prognosis. Not what I expected.

Dr. Intravia was kind and efficient. She gave me options for the next plan of action upon her diagnosis. She explained the benefit/risk of each option which made the visit informative and feel mutual. The office also has an x-ray machine so I didn’t need to be referred out and be delayed.

I had to follow up because my trigger thumb had returned. Dr. Intravia saw me right away and answered my questions and reassured me about course of treatment. I went with the cortisone shot again and am hopeful that will do it, but understand the plan should the trigger thumb return. I strongly recommend her for any hand issues.
