About Jessica Romanotto

Jessie's interest in dietetics started in college when she wanted to learn about the impact of nutrition on sport performance. After struggling with her own eating issues throughout school and then finding herself working in a residential treatment center, she discovered a strong passion for working with the eating disorder community. She felt like she could really empathize with the client's struggles and enjoyed getting to know their stories. Jessie believes that health and wellness should encompass a holistic approach that is also within your means. Philosophies such as Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating will be used to help unlearn some of the damaging messages that are pushed by the dieting industry. Jessie believes in the All-Foods-Fit Approach and with her love of travel, she truly views food as a way that we can experience connection with others and learn about diverse cultures. Jessie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Ashland University and completed her postgraduate internship program with Daemen University.
