She earned her medical degree and completed her internship at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Houston / MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Sung Ku also completed a prestigious research fellowship under renowned cutaneous T-cell lymphoma expert Dr. Madeleine Duvic, where she focused on advancing care for patients with CTCL. Dr. Sung Ku’s clinical interests include acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and skin cancer prevention and detection. She is committed to working closely with her patients to help them feel confident in their skin. Dr. Sung Ku lives in Houston with her husband, Ruey, and their dog, Roscoe, and they are excited to welcome a baby boy in November 2025. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.
