I had a very disappointing appointment with this provider. Her practices are nothing like her bio describes. Throughout the entire visit, she kept her eyes on the computer screen, barely making eye contact, and seemed distracted as if she was doing other work.
I took the time to share my full medical and mental health history, including which medications have worked for me in the past. Instead of listening or asking thoughtful questions, she treated me like I was being dishonest. She was cold, emotionless, and dismissive.
After I spent nearly twenty minutes explaining everything, her only response was to give me three generic options and refuse to even consider the treatment I said had been effective before. I left the appointment feeling unheard, invalidated, and frustrated.
This was one of the most impersonal and uncaring experiences I’ve ever had with a mental health professional. It felt like she was just there for a paycheck, not to actually help patients.
