About Dr. Jihae Kim
Dr. Kim is a Podiatric Physician at Gauld Foot & Ankle.
She has extensive training in both surgical and non-surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. She has a special interest in the treatment of bunions, sports injuries, trauma, and arthritis.
Dr. Kim has also completed advanced arthroscopic training during her residency, enhancing her ability to provide minimally invasive treatment options.
Being Korean American, she is fluent in English and Korean, Dr. Kim is ABFAS board qualified and dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care. She focuses on understanding each patient’s lifestyle and goals to create treatment plans that help will them get back on their feet—comfortably and confidently.
Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys hiking with her husband and their dog, as well as exploring new restaurants and coffee shops.

I will definitely be going back. The reception was very friendly and they saw me almost right away. I wasn't left waiting long once I got to the back. My X-rays were analyzed quickly and the doctor came right in. I was never left waiting long at all. They were all so kind. Office clean. When it came time for me to get my cortisone shot, the doctor even asked me if I wanted the medical assistant to hold my hand through the procedure. Of course I said no, but just the fact that she offered so that I would be comforted......5 stars easy!!

I ended up seeing Dr. Bergstrom because of a last minute reschedule, and she was fantastic. Great, clean office space, and all staff were very friendly. The office was great! Friendly and welcoming staff, was seen about 15 minutes after I checked in. The girl that saw me first was very nice, she informed me about insurance stuff and told me the doctor would be in shortly. Dr. Kim was so nice, very personable and respectful. She helped me with my injury short term and gave me all the details about the next week leading up to my second appointment. The whole experience was really good and I feel at ease about my upcoming procedure. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs it.

I "sprained" my ankle just over two weeks ago I went to the ER and later urgent care and had x-rays at both, but it wasn't until I saw Dr. Kim that the fracture was found. She made me feel heard and validated.

My ingrown toenail was hurting me so much that I went to see Dr. Kim. She took out the part that was ingrown with ease and she used a chemical to make sure that it doesn’t grow back. It was very quick and pain-free. Now it doesn’t hurt at all. I was so glad I went to see her.

Dr. Kim took care of my peroneal tendonitis that has been painful for many many years.
She gave me few options but I ended up doing the laser. It doesn’t hurt at all and I had no down time. As a teacher, I am on my feet all the time so I appreciated that.
