Getting to know Jill Orr
I am a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified (PMHNP-BC), with over nine years of experience in clinical, managerial, and executive roles. I am a strong leader with expertise in team building, motivation, staff, and hospital management. My strong clinical and administrative knowledge allows me to facilitate, measure, evaluate, and interpret each patient as an individual. My passion is to empower people to grow and to make a difference in their lives. Utilizing best practices, high quality, and efficient care, I can provide an overall holistic approach to helping people become their best. I was raised in colorful Colorado and have had several experiences before becoming a PMHNP-BC. My first degree was Bachelor of Science in Business Management. I decided that it was best for me to follow my dream of becoming a nurse and that is when I received my second degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Pennsylvania State University. I also received my Nurse manager certificate and utilized this knowledge to help run an inpatient psychiatric facility. I then decided to get my Master of Science in Nursing along with my PMHNP-BC. My education allowed me to be a clinical instructor for nursing students at CU and Regis University. This allowed me to promote how important mental health is for all of us. I am a mother to three wonderful kids who make me proud every day. I enjoy watching College and NFL football and have found a new interest in flying recreationally with my husband (he’s the pilot). I also enjoy spending time with my Golden Retriever Kailey and my Calico cat, Pip. I am excited to utilize my business skills and my compassion for helping people. I own Mentally STRONG Parker in Parker Colorado. This allows me to provide quality mental health services to the surrounding communities.

Overall great experience Nurse Practitioner Jill Or was extremely helpful. Although she was unable to assist me she spent the entire call trying to steer me in the right direction. By the end of our call I was almost sad I was not going to be one of her patients. She even offered further help if I couldn’t find what I was looking for on my own to email her. 10/10 Recommend!
