“I have been going to LifeStance for about 2 years. I started out at the Zionsville location and saw an excellent NP there. She moved on from that location and I just saw a new NP, Jimmy, at the Avon location. My first meeting went very well. He was easy to talked to and seemed invested in helping me to see better days. I think we’re going to work well together.”

Jimmy Chenowith, NP
Jimmy Chenowith is a Nurse Practitioner in Indiana who has been practicing since 2022. He received his Associate’s degree in Nursing from Midlands Technical College in South Carolina in 2007. Jimmy went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2014, and later completed his Master’s degree in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University in 2021. Before becoming an NP, Jimmy practiced as an RN for 17 years. He feels this experience is invaluable and provides a foundation that is unique in its own way. Over the years, he has learned to look at the larger picture of a client’s health and well-being, while also focusing on specific problems and addressing them appropriately. Jimmy has developed strong skills in advocating for his clients and knows when to lean on those around him to foster the best outcomes. He has been married for 22 years and has two teenage children. In the summertime, they enjoy spending time at their pool, mostly with their dogs. Jimmy loves summer the most because he can put the top down on his Jeep, take the doors off, and go wherever he wants. Some of his best memories are hanging out with the friends and family he loves, especially at concerts!

All of my appointments are virtual. My Practitioner, Jimmy Chenowith, is AMAZING!! He listens and HEARS what is being said. It’s a privilege to be under his care. I feel we need more health professionals like him!!

Dr Chenowith is both a professional and a pleasure to talk to. He also books his sessions for 30 minutes whereas others only book 15 minutes sessions, which is never enough time.

I'm so grateful that I've found a really nice Psychiatrist. I've been looking for one since January and he's only a few minutes from my house. I would definitely refer him to people who just need help and it's scary to take that first step. I'm looking forward to working with him.

Jimmy Chenowith saw my teen daughter today for her first psych appointment ever, and he was amazing. He listened to all of our concerns and questions and was thorough, supportive, and understanding in promptly triaging and addressing the issues my daughter has been experiencing.
