About Jimmy Contreras

Jimmy Contreras is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). He received his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical College as a graduate of the Military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program. He currently serves as a Physician Assistant for the Tennessee Army National Guard for the 230th Engineer Battalion in Trenton, TN. Prior to attending their PA program he served as a Flight Medic for 7 years. Jimmy comes to us with over 20 years of experience working as an Emergency First Responder. He works as a Firefighter, Paramedic and Flight Paramedic. His unique background and experience has given him exposure to patients of all ages. He will be offering primary care appointments and urgent care, as well as Hormone Replacement Therapy and weight loss. He will also be bringing some new services to our clinic. He will be offering, Neural prolotherapy (NPT), also known as perineural injection therapy (PIT), this is a treatment that treats neuropathic pain and can help with muscle recovery. It's a treatment that's considered a promising advancement in regenerative medicine.
