“NP Patel was wonderful. Her examination felt thorough and she listened with care and patience to my concerns. She did a biopsy that was painless and fast. I very much look forward to her being my point person for my skin moving forward. The office itself is great as are the staff. I took 2 stars off because until I realized on my own I could book the appointment on zocdoc my efforts to book an appointment by phone with NJ FamilyCare was AWFUL. Called 4 times and was rerouted to a NJ line that never answered so played phone tag and basically gave up. By luck when I went to find another provider on the find a doc I discovered I could book online. Wish they told people with my insurance to do it that way instead of endless phone tag”

About Jinel Patel
Jinel Patel is a certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Kent State University in 2015 where she completed a one year accelerated nursing program. She graduated in 2020 with Master of Science in Nursing degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Jinel has a broad range of medical, surgical, and cardiac experience from prestigious facilities such as Cleveland Clinic and Morristown Medical Center.
She began her medical career as a Nurse Practitioner by completing the APP training program at Schweiger Dermatology Group, where she trained alongside top dermatology providers and gained firsthand experience in both cosmetic and medical treatments.
Jinel’s goal is to provide compassionate and quality care through patient education, disease management, and prevention.
