What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients appreciate a collaborative and individualized approach, some prefer a traditional medication plan, while others seek additional support through lifestyle modifications, stress management, and mind-body practices. I am here to provide practical solutions, compassionate care, and ongoing support to help you feel your best.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Connecting via telephone or email helps to speed up the intake process to get you scheduled. You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we focus on understanding your unique needs and goals. Our first visit is designed to help us get to know each other and build a strong foundation for your care. Before your appointment, you’ll receive questionnaires to complete. These forms gather important details about your medical and mental health history so we can make the most of our time together. During the session, we’ll talk through your mental health history, current concerns, medical background, lifestyle factors, and any treatments you’ve tried in the past. If you’re seeking medication management, we’ll review your symptoms, explore possible options (or continue with what’s already working), and address any questions or concerns you may have. If you’d like a more integrative approach, we can also consider lifestyle factors—such as sleep, nutrition, and stress management—and identify areas for future focus. My goal in this first session is to create a personalized plan that fits your needs—whether that’s a straightforward medication plan, holistic strategies, or a combination of both. You’ll leave the visit with a clear understanding of next steps and the reassurance that you’re supported in your mental health journey. Initial appointments are scheduled for one hour to allow for a thorough, comprehensive evaluation.
