About Dr. Jo Pitzer

As a family practice physician, I strive to treat all patients with the highest level of compassion, care, and understanding. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, and my goal is to provide the exceptional care that every patient deserves. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, completed my internship in Family Practice at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and finished my residency at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. There is nothing more important to me than the health and safety of your children. As a strong advocate of vaccinations, I believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing I can do to keep your children and your community safe. If you choose not to fully vaccinate your child, another physician may be a better fit for your family. When I am not caring for patients, I spend as much time as I can with my husband and three children. I also enjoy reading, writing, and many outdoor activities.
