Joan Fraino, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, CNL, received her doctorate at the University of San Francisco and is a dually board certified, Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco for over ten years preparing doctoral students for practice. She is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of the PMHNP program at Touro University and a preceptor for upcoming practitioners.
