I am a seasoned nurse with more than 20 years of experience providing care to patients and families. I am dedicated and compassionate, always putting my patients' needs first by demonstrating excellent communication skills, empathy, a sense of caring, and a commitment to patient advocacy. I hold a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate’s degree from John Abbott College.

Very professional appointments, psychiatrists usually don't care about your life just your symptoms but she did ask a little about my baking hobby. She's very kind for a psychiatrist even though they're usually (understandably) kinda cold. Love her and highly recommend <3 really to-the-point and good at helping you get your symptoms into words. Also was super helpful when I ran into a possible pill issue, turned out unrelated to psych pills but she still called all her colleagues to try and help me out.

Very nice and personable practitioner, unfortunately, I had to change healthcare providers because Ms. Rifkin and staff said she cannot treat or prescribe medication for me when I am going to school abroad. This is highly confusing as all my classmates who are also from the US have no problem getting their prescriptions from their Doctors. Ms. Rifkin is a wonderful Healthcare provider but her office cannot help you if you are planning to or currently studying abroad.

I had to reach out Bc my last doc left her practice. I was a little hesitant at first just choosing anyone with availability but I was pleasantly surprised. She’s very attentive, didn’t change my meds, understood my sensitivity to new meds and was honest and clear about next steps. She’s calming and takes her time, didn’t rush me and I would totally recommend her.
