About Jocelyn Reints

Jocelyn Deutsch, who goes by Josie, is licensed to practice in South Dakota and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Josie has been helping people for as long as she can remember, starting out as a lifeguard and then a Certified Nursing Assistant in high school. In May 2009, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Presentation College in Aberdeen, and in December 2020, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the same institution. Her nursing education has provided her with experience in many areas, including OB/GYN (labor and delivery), medical and surgical floors, emergency room, cardiac rehab, clinic, and health home coordination. She also taught Licensed Practical Nurses at Sisseton Wahpeton College. Most recently, Josie worked as a Nurse Care Connector for patients with Opioid Use Disorder at the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Health Administration. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and family. Josie likes to stay active by trying new things, participating in boot camp, and playing in various sports leagues. Josie will provide services through Asniyapi (a Dakota word meaning "to heal") Field Health Clinic on the Lake Traverse Reservation. She looks forward to working with MDHC to provide care to individuals and support for all areas of life. Josie offers family practice care across the lifespan, as well as specialty services for patients with Opioid Use Disorder through Medication for Addiction Treatment.
