Jodi Jenista, APRN

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
WA
As a Board Certified-Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, I am proficient in performing assessments as well as prescribing and managing medications for a multitude of disease processes. I have worked in a variety of settings where mental health was of the upmost importance and feel strongly that mental health needs are a priority in healthcare. I believe in discussing and tailoring treatment to your individual needs, taking into account the “whole person” you are and paying close attention to not only your mental health, but the factors that may play a part in your mental health needs. I love using the analogy when discussing mental health with my patients of a football stadium and the fans who cheer that team on. As a patient, you are a player on the team and individuals, as a whole, play better, feel better, and do better with a FULL stadium of fans! With mental health, often times, that stadium is not at its greatest capacity with fans. I want to work with you to create a FULL stadium to help you be your best self! We will do this together with medication as appropriate and creating a plan that meets your needs. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing through Southwestern Oklahoma State University and then received my Masters of Science in Nursing from Kaplan University. I was provided an excellent education as well as an abundance of clinical experience. I have a great deal of experience with a diverse population including community health, serving the homeless population, as well as serving the underinsured and uninsured populations.
