Joe Moro, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
AZ
Welcome to my Grow Therapy profile page. My name is Dr. Giuseppe Moro, DC, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC. My first name can sometimes be a bit of a tongue twister, so please feel free to call me Joe if you'd like, or Dr. Moro - whichever is easier and more comfortable for you. I have a unique interdisciplinary background spanning psychiatry, family medicine, advanced practice nursing, chiropractic medicine, K-12 education, higher education, behavioral health, and patient-centered care. My practice focuses on helping adults and older adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress-related conditions, insomnia, trauma-related stress, adjustment difficulties, burnout, and life-transition challenges in a supportive, practical, and collaborative outpatient telehealth environment. In addition to clinical practice, I currently serve as nursing faculty teaching psychiatric nursing and advanced health assessment to nursing and nurse practitioner students. Originally from upstate New York, I moved to West Coast 25 years ago for graduate school. I lived 22 years in E. Hollywood in the warm and artistic Los Feliz neighborhood near Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Hills before eventually relocating to Las Vegas. I was raised in a traditional Italian-speaking Catholic family, so I appreciate the important role that family, culture, spirituality, personal values, and meaningful relationships play in emotional wellness.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
