Joe Moro, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
AZ
I’m a first-generation Italian American and the proud son of immigrants from the Abruzzo region of central Italy. I was raised in Upstate New York and have lived on the West Coast for 25 years. I enjoy cooking, movies, documentaries, literature, philosophy, and the humanities. My professional career has taken me from chiropractic care to family health and mental health. I began my studies at the University at Buffalo, where I was a classical Italian literature and language major. I then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I wanted to help patients in more ways, so I also became a nurse and eventually an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (aka Nurse Practitioner). I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 5 years, and I am board-certified to work in family health and mental health. I also practice musculoskeletal chiropractic care and osteopathic manual manipulation with in-person clients. My treatment approach is integrative and holistic, and I focus on understanding your entire person rather than just managing symptoms. I also use natural remedies, when appropriate.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
