Dr. Crockett earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University and completed his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his dermatology residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. During residency, Dr. Crockett led the development of Clearpath, a tablet-based digital pathology platform that has since been adopted by dermatology programs worldwide. His work in digital pathology has helped enhance collaboration, improve lab efficiency and contribute to the development of machine learning algorithms for assisted diagnosis. Following his residency, he became vice president of product at CrossChx, a healthcare technology startup backed by leading venture capital firms. There, he led cross-functional teams to deploy healthcare software in more than 300 medical facilities across the U.S. After the birth of their fifth child, Dr. Crockett and his wife returned to the Bay Area to be closer to family. He brings to Golden State Dermatology a passion for integrating technology into patient care and creating exceptional experiences for the communities he serves.
