About Dr. Joel Richards
Dr. Joel Richards was born and raised in Houston, TX. Joining the Marine Corps just after high school, he served four years in the infantry then attended Texas A&M, graduating in 2001. Dr. Richards attended medical school at UNT Health Science Center in Ft. Worth, TX, and did his residency in Family Medicine at UT Tyler. During his residence, Dr. Richards gained Emergency Room experience by moonlighting at ER’s throughout East Texas. He continued his work in the ER world until founding doc in 2017.
Dr. Richards and his family moved back to College Station in 2011. He and his wife, Erin, also an Aggie graduate, are parents to two daughters and a son, and are active in the community through their involvement in the CSISD school district and their church, Grace Bible.
