I have been a practicing pediatrician since 2020. I worked at Memorial Care in Jacksonville, Illinois, until joining Nava Segal Private Practice. I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Carabobo in Venezuela and completed my residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, NY. I specialize in general pediatrics, caring for patients from birth through young adulthood. Becoming a pediatrician has been a lifelong goal of mine, inspired by my own recovery from illness when I was younger. I love connecting with my patients and their families. I focus on preventative medicine and helping kids become the best version of themselves. My goal is for them to grow up healthy and confident. I promise parents that I will do everything possible to provide quality, compassionate care for their children. I'm board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. In addition to English, I am fluent in Spanish. When I'm not treating patients, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, traveling, listening to live music, and snuggling with my two dogs, Barry and Luna. At the office, we offer a wide range of on-site and lab-based health services for children of all ages-from basic check-ups and immunizations to comprehensive screenings, chronic disease management, and allergy treatment. These services include vision and hearing tests, EKGs, spirometry, cholesterol checks, and testing for strep, flu, RSV, and COVID-19.
