About Dr. John Feehery
Dr. Feehery has provided his clinical expertise in Otolaryngology to Providence ENT since 2001. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University. He completed both his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Feehery currently serves as the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Section Chief of Taylor Hospital and is an Adjunct Faculty member at Jefferson Medical College and Temple University Medical School. He has been recognized as one of the "Top Surgeons" in Main Line Today Magazine and as one of the "Top Docs" in Philadelphia Magazine for Otolaryngology every year since 2012. His special interests include Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Balloon Sinuplasty, Minimally Invasive Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery, and Pediatric ENT surgery, including Tube and Tonsil Surgery.

I took the day off to make a new patient appointment after an ER visit. ? I even changed locations for a sooner appointment.
When I got there today,? to find out that the doctor left early, they said my appointment was December 11 of 2025 even though I was getting multiple texts over the last three or four days to confirm that it was 12/11 /2024.
I was given the option to see the PA on duty, who was absolutely fantastic, but I was disappointed that I did not get a chance to see the original doctor that I had made an appointment with and the front desk did not seem to care.

Wasn't a great experience. Wait time was a bit long. I filled out forms on line prior to my appointment and still spent 15+ minutes at a kiosk resubmitting what I had already previously submitted. I found Dr Feehery to be a bit brash and didn't appear to listen to my concerns. He just went on doing what seemed like a routine to him. Additionally I was expecting an antibiotic to be called in to my pharmacy. I did not get that. I called the office back the following day to find out that the antibiotic would be prescribed based on the results of the culture taken. Findings and instructions were unclear. Perhaps that was due to the fact that the course of action would be based on the culture results. However that was not clearly communicated to me at the time. I'm waiting on culture results to learn what is going on with my suspected ear infection.

I arrived at the office, a half hour early just to make sure my paperwork and such was complete. I was informed by the receptionist at the front desk that my appointment had been canceled. I asked her by whom since I had a text from Zocdoc on my phone from 3 o’clock that day, reminding me of my appointment, and she said that it was showing canceled. I asked if my appointment slot was still available which she informed me that there were three patients already back in the rooms and seven patients in the waiting room still waiting to be seen. I asked when the next available appointment was and I was told October, all in all I never got to see the provider and I’m still left confused as to how the office had my appointment marked as canceled when Zocdoc was still reminding me the day of three hours before be on time for my appointment and to show the office, the paperwork I completed Via the link sent by Zocdoc.

Every person I encountered was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and listened well. Although the wait time was a little long, it was worth it for the time Dr. Feehery and his audiologist spent with me. I felt seen and heard, and received more treatment and information than I expected. Would happily recommend the practice, and look forward to continuing my association with them.

Dr Feerhey was thorough but I had to wait one plus hours to be seen. When I asked thee staff said there was an emergency that held him up but they should have informed the patients waiting

Doctor ruled out most alarming possible diagnosis based on MRI. Gave possible causes of the hearing loss that I have. Recommended assessment for hearing aids.
With doctor time slots being limited I did have one or two more questions that I would have liked answered.
