What should a new client know about working with you?

Please note that I do not prescribe controlled substances, which includes stimulants (e.g. Adderall and Ritalin), benzodiazepines (e.g. Xanax and Klonopin), and some sleep medications (e.g. Ambien and Lunesta). The out of pocket fee for a new patient visit (45-60 minutes) is $300 and $200 for follow up visits. I am unable to accept patients with Medicare and Medicaid even as a cash paying patient.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

An initial psychiatric evaluation will last between 45-60 minutes. During that time I will review your past psychiatric and medical history. We will also review your past experience with psychiatric care. We will then complete a structured psychiatric diagnostic assessment. If time permits we will discuss your preferences and desires for treatment
