“Great doctor! Listened to my problems/concerns and gave great advice. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients wellbeing and success in treatment. I haven’t had a visit with a psychiatrist like him in a very long time. It felt like a combination of therapy and psychiatric med management. He spent a lot of time with me and made sure I understood the treatment plan. He also told me things that I kinda knew but didn’t wanna hear, but needed to, like how I needed to stop taking stimulants such as Adderall/Vyvanse. We both concluded that these meds have most likely been causing me more harm than good especially with me having an anxiety disorder.
He’s more conservative with prescribing than a lot of other doctors, which I feel is a good thing at least for me. He definitely isn’t the type to push medication on someone who doesn’t truly need it. And he understands how addictive certain controlled psych meds are. He agrees with me about weaning off benzos.”
