About Dr. John Marion
Dr. John P. Marion was raised in Pittsburgh, PA where he attended high school at Shady Side Academy (’97), Fox Chapel, PA. He then earned his Bachelor of Arts in the Biological Sciences (’01) from the University of Chicago, IL.
Dr. Marion moved to Miami, FL and worked as a molecular biologist for the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute before enrolling at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. He earned dual degrees of Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Barry University in 2011.
Dr. Dr. Marion completed a three-year residency program in podiatric medicine and surgery with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. He has special interests in wound care, regenerative medicine, and podopediatrics. He is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Marion currently resides in North Miami, FL and has two children, Sean and Mia. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Marie, and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Everything was great at my visit and the only thing that I regret that I got a shot into my foot and that shot supposed to lasted longer then a few hours of relief that I got.Maybe I was unlucky and those shots that the DR recommended are working for some people but it didn’t worked for me.

Additionally, his assistant/office manager was a star; personality plus and very knowledgeable about the practice! I’m going back in a month for follow-up and highly recommend Dr. Marion! In all my experiences, I have found Dr. Marion to be an extremely personable and professional physician. He is always very thorough; takes his time; and explains in detail any and all treatments, procedures, as well as all viable options/alternatives. He takes his time. I have never felt rushed. He is also very receptive to any questions and concerns that I have. His staff is also wonderfully pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Marion!

The office runs like a well oiled machine. I went for an initial visit and a consultation. There was never more than 2 patients in the waiting area. And the moment there were 2 patients, one was called back within 2 minutes. Dr. Marion was kind and took time to explain different scenarios to me. You could tell he was really caring for my needs. Instead of pushing custom insoles, he recommended that I first try more supportive shoes. I would recommend him to anyone!
