I hold a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My goal is to review your performance in these areas and address where you feel you don’t meet expectations. My commitment is to work with you to help you achieve the highest quality of life you are destined to have. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing my patients succeed.

As a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner, I integrate holistic approaches in addition to medication in my treatment approach. Together we will create a plan that works for you by utilizing medication, therapy, or both. I have over 12 years working in the psychiatry mental health field in different capacities which gives me leverage in understanding my patients needs.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
You are not just a patient, you are a person first and patient centered approach is my philosophy. I want not just to hear you but to understand you. We will work together to review your concerns and areas of functioning utilizing evidence based practice to come up with a diagnosis and a treatment plan that is effective and customized just for you.

This was my first visit. The wait time for an appointment was nonexistent. I myself got a next day appointment. The virtual feature made it much easier on me. The office was easily accessible for contact and quick to respond. The doctor is attentive and knowledgeable. I felt safe, heard, and understood. He also made sure to schedule follow ups and allow open communication prior to my next visit.

I had a great experience with this doctor he actually took time to tell me why we were going to change my meds and how that if we didn’t change them they would effect other medication. so we came up with a plan that would best help my problem he was respectful and very knowledgeable

We covered what I needed, he wasn’t pushy and made me feel comfortable sharing what i did share. overall i look forward to a follow up as well as trying what he prescribed me. He was super proactive and helpful and showed he obviously wanted to help which made me feel a lot better about the whole situation.
I’d always struggled with counselors trying to rip me open to get me to talk but he asked baseline questions and really didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all. He saw the problem, communicated the problem, and gave me an idea of what we could do to fix the problem. Super pleased with everything and how it went.

I can honestly say this is the best doctor I have EVER had. It was the first time I felt like a doctor cared about what I was going through and listened to what I had to say. I feel confident in my care and more optimistic about my future.
