Dr. John Weigand is a detail-oriented, caring audiologist treating patients in Brooklyn, New York, and the surrounding communities. His primary goal as a practitioner is to provide high-quality, individualized care to each of his patients. He strives to increase his patients’ awareness of hearing issues and solutions in order to address all of their audiological concerns.
Originally from Queens, Dr. Weigand attended the University of Florida in order to pursue his doctoral audiology degree. He continued his medical education at the Long Island College Hospital. Here, he completed a fellowship program in pediatric audiology.
Patients visiting Dr. Weigand can receive a full range of audiology services. He provides adult and pediatric hearing evaluations, newborn hearing screenings, balance testing, cochlear implants, and fittings for hearing aids. Treatment is also available for ear damage, diseases, and infection. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Weigand involves himself in his community as a member of St. Helens Church, the Catholic Kolping Society, and Occupy Sandy. He also enjoys exercise, reading, and travel.

Dr. Weigand is extremely attentive to his patients. He's an excellent listener and engages well. His attention to detail in terms of your needs are incredible. He also makes sure you are fully educated on the condition of your ears/hearing. I would highly recommend him. The only down side, is he is not a primary care, cardiologist, GYN, podiatrist, pediatrician, etc.

Waiting time at the office on the date I visited has nothing to do with the staff. Some days it just happens and you wait a bit longer. The staff were great. Everyone very professional and welcoming.

I booked an appointment for my cousin who is hearing impaired. I did my research for a reputable audiologist and I went with Dr. Weigand. As many of his reviews were positive. My cousin expressed of the overall service at the office as; Staff was overwhelmed, but kind and helpful. Dr. John was awesome. Very kind, comforting and extremely informative. His female Dr./partner explained everything in details as well. Very, very helpful. My cousin also said; She will most definitely will recommend Dr. Weigand to anyone in need of a knowledgeable audiologist. Thank you all for providing good care to my cousin.

The appointment with Dr. Weigand was one of the best healthcare experiences I have had. I brought my Polish-speaking grandfather to get a hearing aid - and my grandfather is not the easiest patient to deal with. Dr. Weigand was extremely patient and showed genuine care for my grandfather's wellbeing. He put my grandfather's needs first and really worked with us to get my grandfather on the path to hearing better. I am beyond impressed by this doctor's knowledge, patience, and overall care.
