Jonathan helped setup a meal plan that worked for me during the week, as well as how to identify healthy meals when eating out. I have felt so much better day to day with his meal plans then what I was eating before. In addition with his experience in endurance races, he was also able to help coach me on how to manage my nutrition while training for major events, both leading up and on race day. If you're an endurance athlete or athlete of any sort I would highly recommend Jonathan!

I have been working with Jon for about 3 months now and am so glad that he was recommended to me. I had been struggling with my weight for some time and although I understand dieting and calories, he helped me by creating a plan that was doable and didn't feel like a diet. Everyone talks about lifestyles vs dieting and he helped me see realize the difference. Jon is very knowledgeable about how the body works. He has a great way of explaining, seemingly complicated processes, and you leave having a much better understanding of the how and why traditional diets are just not long lasting. He also created an exercise and meal plan that worked for my current medical condition. He also spent time really listening to my concerns and frustrations and didn't throw out staple standard ideas. He is creative and realizes we are all different. I appreciated his wit and good sense of humor which has kept things light. I have lost more weight than expected thus far without feeling restricted!
What's great about Jon's practice is that he's knowledgeable, approachable, practical, and most of all wants you to build habits that are sustainable for you. There's no one size fits all, and that's nice because I don't want a health plan that works for someone else, but doesn't work for me. I love that a key component to Jon's method is planning for the times when your motivation dips. Jon seems to really understand the ups and downs of working towards a long-term goal. There's so much patience involved and lots of potential stumbling blocks. In the past, that kind of thing made me afraid to set goals at all, but Jon is super helpful when it comes to finding strategies for practicing staying on target with your health goals even when you fall off the wagon or have an off day. He definitely helped me frame my goals differently than I have in the past and helped me figure out how to better prioritize taking care of my body.
Jon truly cares and his commitment to staying current is top-notch! His expertise and understanding of my health challenges coupled with his effective counsel was key to improving my health. He worked with me to set achievable goals and provided tools to make better meal plans and choices. Because of Jon, I am better equipped, in control, have made significant progress, and so much healthier. I highly recommend Jon!
