The interplay between negative mood symptoms, health effects and addictive behaviors can create a feedback loop that can feel like a trap. I have been very effective in helping my clients to disrupt their own addictive processes by leading with respect and truthfulness. By committing myself to those principles I establish a healing relationship with my clients which serves as a safe space in which change can begin. Within that therapeutic relationship, we can explore the role of the addictive process- and work together to find a preferred alternative. In addition to this, I am an expert in Medication Assisted Treatment, (MAT) and work diligently to optimize the reduction of drug or alcohol cravings whenever possible. If there are concurrent mood symptoms, I can help to optimize those using a number of different medication strategies. In addition to this, I will work with you to develop your own personalized recovery plan to ensure your continued success.
