I'm a first-generation Puerto Rican and Colombian who has moved around the country and now settled in South Florida. Before Medicine, I studied Public Health, which taught me first-hand that medicine is the great equalizer. Access to compassionate and patient-centered care truly changes a patient’s life. Primary care is the best field because I form close bonds with my patients - I remember their faces, meet their families, and learn the stories that led them into my office. My patients inspire me daily. I like to see patients for all concerns - from acute concerns to chronic disease management, from mental health concerns to general health maintenance.
